Today we explored a different area of Sugar Beach in Kiehi. Also known as Kealia Beach because it is adjacent to Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge. There is a reef just off shore that makes it difficult to get over to the ocean side so we floated in the shallow water and watched the sand crabs scurry about in the "swash zone". It was another spectacular day of brilliant skies, warm water and fantastic views of Kahoolawe and Molokini islands.
