Kukaniloko (Oahu) 🪨

A spontaneous morning trip to pay our respects to Kukaniloko where Hawaiian ali'i royalty was born. We have visited Kukaniloko many times in the past. Today the pohakus (rocks) are surrounded by a protective pathway. Many years ago there was no pathway and no signs. From here the view of Waianae mountain range is in the shape of a reclining goddess, featuring Mount Ka'ala at 4,000 feet. Over the years we shared this place with friends who came to respect the land, the aumakua (ancestral spirits) and these historic power spots. We follow Arjuna's guidance and recommendations for respecting and participating in the space. He is our kahuna and shaman.
