Located on the North Shore of the East Side of Maui. This is a dramatic cliffside viewpoint at the end of a short walk through tall grasses blowing in the wind. Someone has installed a pohaku at the point. Very few people visit this spot and we always have this place to ourselves. Other infrequent visitors are fisherman who climb down the cliffs to a rocky beach below. The Manawai Gulch has cut a deep gorge in the landscape that features a large cave and small, deep ponds in a narrow ravine. Around the corner, just south west of this point is the famous Jaws surf break, also known as Peahi.
A luxury real estate development called Peahi Farms is underway. The lots are large, and a few have been sold but only one has been developed. The wind is strong and constant here.
