Iwi are the sacred bones that hold the mana and spiritual essence of ancestors. This small burial site is right behind the Target store in Kahului. You aren't likely to see it because it's not visible from the main parking lot. I stumbled upon it one day when the small side parking lot was full so I parked near the back of the store. It's surrounded by a small gate and marked with a pohaku and a plaque.
