Halemau'u Hike - Haleakala 🥾

An out and back hike on the slopes of Haleakala. This trail starts at 8,000 feet so it is a long drive up to the trailhead. It winds through shrub land with spectacular views across the island. We started late and only hiked a mile in and headed back out as the sun was setting.
